Small pies with smelt: Smelt fried with onions and flour.

Fish saboro: small fried fish with vinegar and garlic.

Sweet candy: Honey stewed with roasted almonds. Eaten at weddings and christenings.

Meletinia: Small pies of handmade pastry filled with mizithra cheese. It is tradition just before Easter to gather a lot of women in a house to prepare and bale them and to sculpt them it is considered real art. It is mostly an Easter sweet but if you’re lucky you can find them in bakeries.
